Biography
From a young age matt was always interested in music. Always nodding his head to something and always wanted to make his own music. So I guess that is where it all started. It all started for matt when he started DJing at a young age at a well-known youth group called the Orange room in Andover. It was 3 floors of fun open to under 18s. A youth disco on Friday Nights. Matt’s first piece of mixing Equipment was a very simple Home mix System by Acoustic Solutions from Argos for his 13th Birthday. Whilst Working at The Orange Room, other opportunity’s opened up when he was asked to DJ at another weekly youth group called Night-base. By the time Matt turned 18, his DJ career started to really take off. He started by getting Regular sets and cover jobs at bars and pubs, one of the first being the "The Angel Inn" in Andover. Then it escalated to lots of house party’s to start local promotion. On the Nights out clubbing Matt started wider spread promotion by giving Mix CD’s and Promo packs to event managers and other working DJ’s. One of the Events that noticed Matt were known as, "Out Of Order" who regularly had top DJ’s Playing with them, such as Dave Pearce, Judge Jules and Phil Reynolds. Since then Matt has DJed with or alongside these talents along with others such as Vicki Divine, Lisa Lashes and Studio B, The founder of the hit single " I see Girls". Matt currently has Residency’s In Venues such as The Club of Life, and Nitelife Event. He has also played in other Clubs such as Azusa in Marlborough, Taboo in Yeovil, and The White House In Southampton. Along with other UK based clubs and Events Matt has also Branched out to Clubs and Bar’s outside the UK such as Ibiza, Majorca, Mainland Spain and France. After all this he decided to take his career further and started producing his own tracks and re-mixes and now at the Age of 24 he Decided to get a Degree in Digital Music and Radio so is now currently studying at Southampton Solent University. He is currently working on much more than just plain mixing, He has been experimenting with a range of genres to try and create his own top quality releasable tracks. Now known to people as a DJ/Producer/Re-mixer. So as you can see it doesn’t just stop at club DJing. He is working his way to becoming a broadcaster on Solent Radio. It wont be long till he spreads his wings to more popular stations. Matt hopes to produce a lot more promo CDs to give away. So many mix CDs have been given out by matt that there are too many to count. So look out for the next on
