Nope, it’s not a movie,
but it might as well have been. The way the new electropop band RendezVous started is just like a blockbuster
film out of Hollywood! The key elements were there: the fateful meeting, the
unorthodox recording, and the conclusive team-up with a famous music producer.
Sounds like a movie alright!
RendezVous is a two-man band that has earned the awe and respect of music enthusiasts worldwide. After releasing a successful EP last 2004, their music has been downloaded thousands of times, with pleas from music-hungry fans over the years for more of RendezVous’ songs.
Finally, the fans don’t have to beg anymore! RendezVous is currently adding the finishing touches to their very first album.
Itai Simon and Hagai Izenberg, the two music talents of RendezVous, are working with well-known producer and mix engineer David Bascombe, who has worked with eighties music legends Tears for Fears and Depeche Mode.

Despite the already numerous types of electronica, it seems RendezVous has discovered yet another. Their music is nothing like the techno beats and trance music you expect to hear from other electronica bands. In fact, RendezVous has successfully broken new ground by fusing together two great genres of music: electropop and jazz. The result is a poised mixture of musical wit and soul.
Borrowing inspiration from the psychedelic tunes of Pink Floyd, RendezVous’ music is almost like a music pill, the cure for all music cravings. Whether you are a fan of pop, instrumental, jazz, or electro, you are sure to find what you are looking for in RendezVous.
But words are cheap; it’s always best to let RendezVous’ music speak for itself. Their three songs, Incognito, So What, and No Man’s Land, will say it all.
